Current excitement on the parents FB pages was a picture from lunch today. Apparently not an isolated incident. Things haven’t changed a bit!

Campus is on alert for a few days. Extra ambulance on campus in case anyone comes down with anything. Crystal Enterprises will be leaving the school in late January to be replaced by another food service provider (unrelated to the incident today).

Whoever is in charge of the food should go the same way as Crystal. . . .

Back in the day you would get a table or two in Delano to simultaneously scream "THIS FOOD", immediately after which the entire room would reply in roaring unison "SUCKS". Nothing changes at the zoo.

Ah, chicken tar tare, my favorite. Can't say I ever saw raw chicken during my four years though. Raw/bloody steak, yes.

Heard the other day that the Crystal Enterprises staff learned that 3/4ths of them are to be let go after the food provider contract changes over. They happened to learn this just before this 'incident'. I've been very wary of any food being served in delano lately. Pb&Js have kept me afloat.

Seems like the food is still not safe. These two pics were posted on Facebook by two different people over the past couple days. My kid reports several have gone to Patton for food poisoning. Others are saying that undercooked chicken is still served from time to time.

Wow. We've had isolated incidents of mold at USNA (as expected with large volumes of food), but is is absurd.
