Military Closing of Boarders

And these two countries are part of the "we own nukes club".....

Yeeaaaah, I'll sleep well tonight. :frown:

I laughed for sure and marveled at the uniforms, marching and pageantry. Then I thought about our military parades, pass in review, etc. Accounting for culture, perhaps this isn't so different???

Don't get me wrong - I love our formations, drill, parades, history, bands, etc. I think our uniforms (Marines in particular ) are appropriately fashioned and adorned. The evening parade at 8th & I is the best! But still, we have our fair share of "show" events also.

I am trying to be open minded here but that won't stop me from laughing as I watch and share this video with friends. Can't help to think that I would not want to be standing in a bar picking a fight with one of these "high kickers!"

I liked how the two countries seemed to cooperate, mirror, and even shake hands.

Monty Python :thumb: How many remember the originals:biggrin: The dead parrot was great. They have Nukes:thumb: Ministry Of Silly Walks was one of their best. I remember Pass In Review every morning in Biloxi on the way to class.

It is quite amazing that the two sides managed to coordinate the 'show' considering they get into a shooting war from time to time. I've watched some YouTubes of this and other parades from India and Pakistan. It is interesting how some of the British military traditions show through.
