Pretty interesting article. Periodically some of our posters ask " what happens if i am over the weight limit"?, or " what happens if i show up and can't pass the PT test"?. the answer is that the military is really serious about height and weight standards and you need to understand that and start developing the habits that will keep you at the TOP of the PT chart (forget passing- if you can only do the minimum, then you are not going to succeed in the Army); and off of the weight chart. So my advice: - start eating right, and start running and knocking out your pushups now. This is one area that you don't ever want to find your self close to the line on.
