For those of you attending West Point soon, I congratulate you! Lots of good advice on this forum, I'd like to offer some that you may not heard of before. As you are getting ready to go, consider looking up ADRP 1-02 (just google it), it's more or less the Army's manual for the terms, symbols, and language we use in the Army. At West Point you will use these all the time in your MS classes. Attached is an example of what some of the symbols look like and what they mean. Honestly if you've never seen them before, it's pretty interesting! My favorite section in the ADRP is the tactical mission tasks section.
