To start off simple, I'm applying to NROTC and AFROTC, and need to make sure that weight won't be problem.

So far I've managed to find some information for AFROTC, but nothing specific for NROTC. Would I be correct in assuming that they won't necessarily have the same minimum standards? And does anyone happen to know where a table of the minimum allowable weights may be found for NROTC?

Also, when do these standards need to be met by? Essentially, when might I expect my DODMERB exam if I complete my ROTC applications by the end of May?

Finally, does anyone know if any (or under what circumstances) waivers are given out for being below the minimum weight for a certain height? Hopefully it will not be an issue by the time of the DODMERB exam, but just trying to figure this out in advance, just in case.

Here are the height/weights that they sent in the NROTC acceptance package this year.

Okay, thanks for the NROTC ideas - after looking at some more information now it appears that while the services don't all hold the same standards, the cut offs appear to stay the same inside a particular service (ie NROTC = USNA = Navy Enlisted).
