Review of the NDAA for FY 2023 shows that in addition to those with nominations from Senators and Congressmen being eligible for an appointment as a Qualified Alternate, those with nominations from the delegates to the House of Representatives from the District of Columbia, Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, and Northern Mariana Islands will also be eligible for appointment as Qualified Alternates.
