Missouri Nominations

Not sure yet. Not home, my husband texted me the letter had arrived. I'll check status tomorrow am.
 
Nope. Nothing from both senators. According to this forum, Blunt's nom is announced. Probably my DD didn't get his nomination. I wish they call us either way. Waiting is hard. Oh, it was from you! You had one from Blunt! Congrats! USNAclassof2020!
 
I talked to one candidate at my school who has a LOC, apparently she has gotten a nomination from McCaskill and it has appeared on her portal. Maybe they do LOC ppl first and then pick from the remaining? (Hopefully not)
 
Nomination from McCaskill just appeared on USNA portal. This makes me think that perhaps they're notifying people at different times?
 
LOC? Do you mean LOA? (Letter of assurance).

I have no idea how they notify. I'm guessing the senators give the slates to USNA, and then USNA updates candidate portals to reflect the nom. It sounds like no letters have been received by anyone yet (either way), but people only know they got the nom by seeing it on the portal.
 
DD received a letter today from Sen McCaskill, she did not receive that nom. Nothing from Sen Blunt either way, but I'm guessing she did not get that one since others have heard from Blunt. Looks like DD will just have the one nom - but that's all she needs :)

From thread looks like at least one Appointments in districts 8, 4 and 2.
Just trying to mentally prepare, were any principal nominations?
 
My DD did not have principal nomination. Had alternate nom from MOC-8 and competitive moms from both senators. Got call 3-4-16 from MOC with appt. Portal not updated yet.
Waiting is so hard. Best of luck

We are district 2. DS wasn't notified of being principal nominee so I assume Wagner submits an unranked slate. On another note, something I thought was unusual from what I have read here, the BFE did not come in the mail. USNA contacted the guidance office to ask about setting up a meeting with DS and presenting it to him in person. They did an information night at his school and when he arrived, they asked him to speak to the audience about his experience with the process and why he applied. Good thing he is comfortable speaking in front of people!
