Hey all, it's been a while since I have last posted since school has been kicking my butt, however, as the School Year for MMI inches closer, I have been trying to prepare myself physically for PT. I'm all too familiar with the outlook of "be as fit as you can possibly be" for any sort of military test/academy, however, I am hoping to know if there are any tangible numbers on the level of fitness that a cadet should be when going into an SAP (Service Academy Prep) program at MMI. For reference, I'm going into CGAS self-prep. Any info is greatly appreciated!

After speaking with my DS, this what he said about MMI PT standards:

MMI is a preparatory school, so many will come in with a lower base level of fitness and improve over time. With that being said, try to meet these standards before coming to MMI: at least a 225 score on the Coast Guard Academy PFE and for the CFA try to be able to do at least 50 pushups (in 2 minutes), do 8 pull ups, do 75 situps (in 2 minutes ), throw the basketball 60 feet, run the shuttle run in 9.1 seconds, and run 1 mile in less than 7 minutes.

If you can do all of those things, you will do well physically at MMI.
