If one assumes that 100% of the sponsored preps receive appointments, and one assumes that a few sponsored preps may have dropped out for whatever reason, then the sponsored prep class last year was approximately 60 or so starting in the fall of 2018. My DS is at MMI self sponsored this year. I got the impression from my own informal headcount at dropoff this year that the sponsored and self sponsored classes were about the same size. Assuming I am correct or close to correct, then the appointment success rate for self sponsored would be in the 66% range. Lots of assumptions and back of the envelope math in my calculation. So adjust or discount as you see fit.
