MOC Competitive Slate - when does the music stop to see who gets a chair?

In all reality your competition may not even be all in at the table yet.
Time and patience don’t align in this process.

Prepare alternate plans and tend to staying healthy and fit.
 
You will know by 1 May. There is nothing you can do but put your best packet together. Remember, the #1 person might be you or it might be someone who decides to go to Princeton instead or tears an ACL in April. You have no idea. Every year kids try to game the nomination and admission systems--and you cannot. Just put your best packet together and then wait.

I agree with the comments above—
You need to work on alternate plans and find other things to keep you busy since you probably won’t hear the outcome until sometime around February to May.
Don’t check you portal every five minutes. 😉
My son got the news in mid-April!
