MOC has not released nomination application

My MOC hasn't released his application yet, but I called them and gave them my information and they said they'd send it to me when it's ready. Is there anyone else whose MOC holds out until September or later? Just wondering if this is normal to other regions, because it was not like this last year with this MOC (I'm a re-applicant).

According to their nomination FAQ pages, both California District 10 and District 15 open up their applications on May 15th.

Ours opened in July. Maybe your MOC has a new SA coordinator.

Ours were all due on October 1. They interviewed in November and made the nominations public in mid December.

Every single MOC can do things differently. And an MOC can change his/her approach from year to year. The only common denominator is they must (well, are supposed to) have their nom slates into the SAs by Jan. 31. Very competitive districts generally tend to have earlier deadlines, but this is not a hard and fast rule.

Thus, the deadlines for any district other than yours are irrelevant to yours.

I understand. I was merely asking as a means of comparison since I found this very unusual. And anyway, the MOC finally released them, so it’s all good now.
