MOC interviews

To be clear, I was criticizing Reid, via his staff. I thought the sarcasm was way beyond reasonable. That being said, it could be the pressure part of the interview, handled poorly by the staff. The fact that they are conducting the interview does not mean they are good at their job.
At this point I would be tempted to draw a parallel to Reid, but it is just too obvious.

jscam87 - when I first read his post describing the interview - I didn't think the response was sarcastic at all. It could have been but I didn't read it that way.

I DO think it was an opening for nsiderbam to clarify. IF he had a do-over or was more experienced he would have seen that.
In my experience, the politics of an MOC has little to do with the make up of the interview board. My MOC is a democrat but he has a number of republicans on his board, including current and former military officers, business leaders and school leaders.

nsiderbam - It's over. Nothing you can do about it now - it may not even affect your chance of a nomination too much. Don't forget you submitted an application package and probably at least one essay - this counts too. These nomination board know you kids are nervous and get tongue tied.

In the future - it probably would have been best to have your clothing picked out and ready 3-4 days (or even a week) before your interview. Planning on arriving 15 minutes early is always a good plan. Life is full of experiences, learn from them.
