Up rather early today on the east coast, of course I wake up thinking about the academies, instantly checking my portal followed by the forums

Rome wasn’t built in a day, and all roads lead to Rome. Two classic proverbs that specifically apply to candidate waiting (im)patiently like me.

Give it some space. Enjoy your senior year. And most importantly, have faith. You’ll get that commission somehow.

Sean

p.s- I spend a LOT of time on the “where are they know?” Thread. It’s the best. It should definitely be a sticky

I’m up early too, a long-time habit on New Year’s morning. It’s my quiet time.

Good positive thoughts above. Learning how to coach yourself through various challenges is a life skill.

Good thoughts ... I've been trying to preach it on SAF years -- 1) Worry about what you can control and 2) Be patient..the process (as amended from time to time) works.

It doesn't seem like that long ago (but was almost 40 years) that Candidates completed their application, submitted it by mail,.then sat back and waited until they got a BFE or TWE. We didn't have portals to check, or really want way to confirm everything was submitted correctly or not. You either got in, or you didn't.
