I've heard two or three people might have received a package, but in view of the fact that they were said to have been sent a while ago I was wondering if anyone might have more information on them.

They literally only come with an envelope and some extra papers telling you how to fill the forms. Basically, download all the forms from online and make sure you sign each paper with blue ink. Keep a copy for yourself as well

Alright cool — thank you. And blue ink for all the signatures? It seems a little ambiguous.

It seems like the packages are finally going out. A bunch of people started getting them this week. We got ours yesterday. Like Pigphantom said, there's one USPS Priority Mail envelope. Here are the instructions. Blue ink for signatures only (you could use the pdf fill function on the forms to avoid writing everything). No staples...use paperclips for multiple page forms.

Head over to the class of 2027 parent page on Facebook. It look like veryone has received theirs now.

I haven't either, but I'm not overly concerned about it. I received the initial package that went out kind of late so they're probably in the process for a good number of people.

We haven't received the most recent package yet.
We received ours Tuesday and got all the signed forms sent out yesterday. I was getting concerned because we're leaving in the morning to go on vacation, and if the package arrived after we left, by the time we get back, there wouldn't be time to make the June 1 deadline.

Checked with AO and he said if we got in a crunch, just send the items on our own this week via USPS Priority Mail (or FedEx if you'd prefer) as opposed to waiting for the package they mailed. This is the address:

ATTN: United States Coast Guard Academy Admissions Office
31 Mohegan Avenue
New London, CT 06320

There's not much to the package they send. A folder with a cover letter, the instruction sheet I posted above, a single preaddressed USPS Priority Mail flat rate envelope, and a couple fliers about the parent association, and an order form for a class picture.

He said to feel free to send him the tracking number so their office can track the shipment too!
