Mr. Mullen and DODMERB FAN CLUB!

Bullet, you are amazing, too. Okay, I can write the letter, but how do I get everyone to sign it? Ideas? We could each send one separately...

Easy, post a draft on this thread, get everyone who wants to sign this to PM you with their names and addresses (if they are comfortable to do this).

And not to say I don't think you can handle this, PM, but send me a draft of your proposed letter and I can add those special "touches" that only a person who wrote dozens of letters of recommendations and performance reports knows how to do.

FLOWERY is my second language...

Bullet, will do, I will pm my draft to you in the next couple of days. All who want to sign, stand by to pm me after I post the awesome letter...

It would be a pleasure to sign on to your letter regarding Larry Mullen -- he is a wonderful representative of Dodmerb and has worked well beyond any and all reasonable expectations to help our son through the remedial process to avoid what would have appeared to have been a disqualifying event. His sense of humor, sound advice and willingness to help will long be appreciated. I truly believe our son's Qualified status was the result of his help in making sure we obtained the right documentation at the right time.
Thanks,
another13mom,

aka Sandra Day O'Conner.....

Mr. Mullen and DODMERB FAN CLUB

No matter how late to the message I may be, I have to say that we all would be better off if there were more men like Mr. Mullen about.
Thanks from one of the pain in the butt parents

Count me in too! Larry Mullen helped my daughter get all the right info to the right people so she could get her waiver -- before he was on this forum. I've often wondered what I could do to express our thanks (I thought of sending candy, but this is better!)

Sign me up, too!!

We just received DD's waiver!!! What a great feeling. Thanks to Mr. Mullen for all of his assistance, patience and good humor!!! CGA, here we come. Good luck to everybody else. Hope you also have the outcomes you desire!!

A "pound" of success heading towards New London....go get 'em!!!:thumb:

I say we all pitch in and buy him a new 'Blackberry Storm', so he can help more kids reach their goals, and he, wastes less of his personal time! :thumb:

Count me in as a fan

I'd be happy to sign on to the letter. I've already sent an e-mail.

His sense of humor was life saver and I was actually going to e-mail him today to see if he could figure out what the hold up was then SHAZAM ! The red disqualified/waiver info was gone and Andy was listed as commission qualified TODAY.

Larry, Matt, and I have been through 55 e-mails, and multiple phone calls since 7/22/08 when I sent the first one to see if my son had even the slimmest chance of making it through DoDMERB. Andy's been through 5 remedials since then and without Larry's encouragement I might have given up. (I was the one who had to track down the medical records and get them in, etc as Andy's only 17-we've moved 6 times in the last 17 years. Andy would have never given up-it's his dream.)

It truly felt like he was "on our side" as we struggled to get the "gold" qualified on the record.

Count me in too!

Mr. Mullen is amazing!!! I would love to get in on the card/ lobsters, or whatever to show my appreciation.

:thumb:Please count me in!

I haven't gotten all the way through the medical red tape caused by my DQs, but I am positive my chances of becoming medically qualified for AROTC have not been killed due in part by Mr. Mullen.

Just giving credit where credit is due: Thank you Mr.Mullen!:thumb:
