yes. that's exactly how it appeared. thanks for clarifying. new to this and this forum.Example TX61 would appear twice if TX senator #1 had two slates
The USMA portal does not indicate if a nomination is a Principal. If only one candidate is nominated on a slate, they are the de facto Principal Nominee whether or not it was submitted as a Principal Nomination - if qualified they win the appointment. My son has TX?? On USMA and USNA. does that mean he is the principle? I've heard he was the only name.submitted for USMA but that him.and another kid we're submitted for USNA.
I also heard, as my son received 2 noms from one source, the other two noms the Congressman gave had two as well. So the three that received USMA noms each are listed twice. I would assume he has 10 to give, three applied so he gave two to each, but again just a guess....So he has total of three noms listed two from Congressman, one from Senator...but from what I have read one is enough...DS just Praying at this point, all he can do....Has anybody ever heard of an MOC giving more than one nomination to a single SA to one candidate? What is the significance of such?
Pretty sure our MOC has 20 different names on his two slates this year. I can assure you there are at least 11 different names as DS only received 1 nom from him. There were over almost 70 applicants in our district. So there are 4 nominations, and 2 come from the congressman because he has 2 slots to fill. Presumably he nominated 10 on each slate, if 10 applied. A person cannot appear on a slate twice. Usually they just use the same slate twice although it could be 20 different people (which seems senseless to me).
One nom is sufficient. More is better. It's like lottery tickets. This applicant has 4 chances to win an appointment.
