Hello all,
As I'm a HS Junior, I recently submitted my summer seminar application. When I double-checked the form to make sure everything was right after submission, the form listed my ALO as being someone other than the ALO I've been in contact with for the past 10 months. I went onto the admissions page and checked my HS and the new name came up there as well. I talked to my "1st" ALO about a week ago, and he didn't mention anything. What happened and which ALO should I reach out to? I don't want to blunder into this situation and make a fool of myself.
Thanks!

They change constantly. Most are active duty and volunteer and they something comes up and you get passed on.

Yes - DS' ALO last year was Air Guard reserves and left for Middle East immediately after the interview.
Don't sweat it - just learn to roll with it. [That skill set comes in handy if you get the appointment . . . ]

Uh, no; they're not. The vast majority of USAFA ALO's are either AFRC (AF reserve) or ANG (Guard) members. We also have retiree's and some active duty members who volunteer their time as an "additional duty."

ALO's change all the time; especially when one or more retires, or moves, or resigns. It's NOT a big deal at all!! Just contact the ALO that's now on your portal, introduce yourself, and press on!
