Can anyone give me their personal opinion as to whether or not they think I have a chance of getting in?

GENDER: Female
ACT: 29
GPA: 3.8 (unweighted), 4.46 (weighted)
LEADERSHIP: President of Speech and Debate team (2 years), President of National Honors Society, selected as one of fourteen kids in my county for outstanding leadership, Advanced Choir leader
OTHER CLUBS: BETA, FBLA, theatre, actress at Nashville Children's Theatre, Pre-college at Vanderbilt University, National English Honors Society
SPORTS: Varsity soccer, varsity basketball, and varsity track
CFA: As of right now I have 30 push-ups, 40 sit ups, and a mile of about 7:30

I realize it would just be a personal opinion, but I'd really appreciate an outside person's perspective! Thanks!

You look pretty good on the academic side along with your leadership history. However, If you really want more of an edge on other applicants I would start to hit the gym everyday. My brother got into WP back in ‘15 and he was in very good shape. He told me a while back that he had an edge on other cadets because he hit the gym 5/7 days a week and that he had enough strength and endurance to outlast all other cadets. Now my bro had a 3.8 gpa just like you and had similar testing scores but he got recruited to play baseball so that too gave him an edge to get in. If you haven’t yet I would contact the coach of your sports liking and just introduce yourself and tell him your times (if track) or your soccer stats (not a soccer geek).

Best of luck

(Sorry for grammar mistakes I had to type this fast)

Work out relentlessly, cram for ACT / SAT retake all summer, research MOC nomination rqts.
Starting out good but need to be great !!!
Looks solid but competition is fierce.

If you work at it you can get in. Work out run, improve act, sat the better you do the better your chances, how many pull ups?
I watched my daughter with similar scores work at it improve and she is know going through Beast Barracks, you can do it too

Move the ACT a bit. Math and English are the most important. Get each 30 or above. Take 45 seconds off you mile time. Then I like your chances a lot.

You have a solid foundation and all of the great advise above will help you tweak your resume.

One extra recommendation is to strive to be the Captain of your sports. Tell you coaches of your desire to go to WP and ask them if you can be Captain. If you can be Captain of one of them (especially in soccer or basketball because they are team sports), that would increase your WCS.

One other piece of the pie that hasn't been mentioned is the competitiveness of your Congressional District. You have no control over that, but it has a great deal to do with whether you get an appointment or not.

Academically & physically look strong, look at your heart and decide if you want to serve & why. Include your passion for outreach in your immediate community & beyond. Admire your interest to use your talent to serve.

What is that supposed to mean? Do you ever leave this forum or do you just constantly refresh? I always see you on this forum and half the time you just bully the OP and never fully answer their question. I can't imagine you're an Old Grad because you don't conduct yourself like an adult, let alone an officer from West Point.
