My roommate and I just finished BCT: Ask us anything

All the memories are fresh and we're willing to share our experiences.
Congrats!!!
As an blue chip recruited athlete for the class of 2025, I have a question for basic and the academy as a whole
*FEMALES*
I’ve tried oral bc and the ring but have had some pretty awful nausea with both to the point where I had to stop after only a few days. Do the females at USAFA use anything that may prevent that?

What is weapons qualification like at BCT? Rifle, pistol, level of importance, course of fire, etc.

I know this was asked a good bit ago but I'll touch on it anyways. Rifle day was one of my favorites. We shoot the M-4 carbine during Jack's. You'll get a few rounds to sight in your gun with both the iron sights and the red dot. Then the test is a total of 24 shots, 12 with iron, 12 with the red dot. Make a certain number (I think it's like 14 and you "qualify" ... which means nothing. The goal is to get 22 or more. Then you qualify for "expert" and get to wear an extra ribbon on your blues!

I didn't shoot a ton at home but I did shoot a little. I shot expert. For me, sighting in really well was key. It's a lot of fun!!
