Nomination is the only thing left, fingers crossed...
I’m not gloating, I’m just happy for him and everyone understands it’s not a guarantee. I posted it because why else be on this forum? Posting good , bad, questions or advice is the purpose. We can be excited for a day.
Oh, I think it's great. You may have had the wrong impression, from my post?
The LOA is such a rare thing, there's nothing wrong with wanting to shout it from the roof tops. It's a huge relief (and a real good indication that he will receive a Full-Qualified Offer of Appointment) I don't envy him however. Sometimes that wait for a nomination can be excruciating, since it may not be until December.
Fingers crossed.
Because the committee meets on Thursday, will LOAs come Thursday/Friday?

It was an email notification of the LOA and the status changed on the portal from “complete pending review “ to “conditional offer of appointment LOA”Nomination is the only thing left, fingers crossed...
CONGRATULATIONS! Exciting time for your son and your family! Well done!
Is it an email LOA letter or a physical letter or does the status change in the portal from Complete, Pending Review?
I really don’t have an answer for you. I knew he had a strong application and everything else to go with it , but so don’t many applicants.Nomination is the only thing left, fingers crossed...
Do you mind telling us the reasons you think he might have gotten the LOA, SAT scores, Academics, etc?
Also when did he submit the application?
