NAPS 2023 Waitlist

No movement on DS's portal yet!!! Celebrated his graduation day today!!! Super proud no matter what! Congrats to those off the wait-list :)
 
Still no updates to my DS NAPS Waitlist status, but his USAFA Portal status was recently updated to him being accepted to their Prep School. He got lucky as he wasn't checking their Portal anymore, as he had been rejected, but luckily seen an non-descript email that his Portal Status had been updated. He logged in and seen he was now accepted to their Prep School and only had 2 days to accept. If he missed that one email or was away on vacation, he would have lost out on this opportunity.
 
At 7:00am this morning I checked my portal and nothing had changed. Still CPR. I noticed an update was done yesterday at 4:00pm. But nothing after that. After reading all the comentary above, I decided to check again at 2:28pm. Usually I would check 2 times a day but this week I increased it to 3 times a day. At 10:01am today I received a NAPS wait listed offer. I still need a medical waiver. I accepted my offer at 2:30. I am beyond blessed, grateful, appreciative, & humbled! I will be a first generation Navy Officer. I was awarded a NROTC 4 year scholarship and will utilize that at The Citadel should something go wrong and I don't receive a full offer to NAPS. Many generations before me were enlist right out of high school. All volunteered to serve our Beautiful United States of America. I love my country and want to go out and protect our freedoms but also assist other nations who look to America for it's leadership and protection. I prayed last night that God, with His Glory & Wisdom, put me on the path he sees fit. Today I am celebrating this journey he has set before me!
