My DS got NAPS waitlisted today as well. How do I add him to the above list? I’ve been reading everything I can find about this. We are moving forward with his NROTC scholarship at UMD, as advised. He seems to be at peace with today’s news so that gives me (mom) peace as well.

FYI, my DD went from CPR to NAPS offer without any notification, too. So, it is possible you go from NAPS waitlisted to offer w/o an email. Keep checking the portal.
 
I looked back at previous years waitlists for NAPS, but didn't really see anything re: NAPS Waitlisters, I was just wondering how many on the list get in on average? I know each year varies.
 
I wanted share information that I received from Admissions at the Academy regarding NAPS waitlist. They said "There is a wait list and we will not do a scrub until around May 8th. No particular order on the waitlist, everyone's application gets re-screened." I called asking if there is a way to see where I am on the waitlist.

I wish! That would be nice 🙃 Sounds like IF seats open then movement on the list MIGHT start around the 2nd week of May and on. Wouldn’t that be the best graduation gift ever? In the meantime I am enjoying the quiet and DD is focusing on plan B and finishing high school strong. 💕
