April 10th AMI. Same day met with orthopedic surgeon placed on waitlist. Recent update waiver granted. Roller coaster….but DS is keeping his A’s, working in plan b and c, filling Turkey tags, setting pr’s in shot and discuss, and giving as many muskie he can lockjaw. May it all work out

Everybody that has been accepted there is a thread in the Naval Academy discussion. Also join our groupchat on instagram at @naps2028

Was anyone able to locate any information about past waitlists? How many were waitlisted... how many came off the waitlist...etc.

Been searching myself, haven’t found anything yet.

Some good info here about last year, looks like a few came off waitlist in mid/late May.

I can say the vast majority of applicants are take charge define your own destiny types of people. People that are committed, focused, and don’t make weak excuses. This not knowing If each of them are so close or so far away, at this time, is excruciating. Hopefully those who have laser focus are rewarded, and those that are on the fence make their decision so the rest can see what lies ahead of them.

I can't decide if it is harder for me or my DD🤣
She has moved on with plan C and is operating as if she got a TWE. She is ready to re-apply, if necessary.
I hope everyone comes off the waitlist that wants to! These candidates are amazing, every single one of them!

I feel the same way, DS is also going with Plan B, but we are hopeful he gets off of the waitlist along with all the others who know they would like to attend NAPS.

I looked but didn’t find a NAPS 2023 /24. Curious of the snapshot of how many were offered and accepted
She got WL for NAPS on 4/13/23 and got pulled up 4/28/23 (possibly sooner, we hadn’t checked her portal in a few days, but know she was still WL on 4/26/23).
TY for the info, my DS was also WL on 4/13. Has amazing options all leading to his goal of commissioning as a 2nd Lt USMC. Plan B,C&D have been secured, which are all amazing. I’m a true believer in ‘ everything happens for a reason’. I’m a glass 1/2 full gal, I don’t think they would’ve offered 1st week of SS and CVW if they weren’t taking a hard 👀 at him ….. have to admit this is like watching years old molasses try to drop out of a jar. Wish the best for your DD 🙏🏼 they will be Napsters together.

Off the NAPS waitlist! I received a NAPS waitlist on April 13th (I accepted immediately). Yesterday I received a NAPS- Conditional Offer (LOA) on my USNA portal. This morning I received an email from USNA with an application decision. It's official...NAPS decision! I am soooo excited to join the NAPS instagram group chat. Congratulations to all those who are starting to move from the waitlist!
