I’ve attached a screenshot from the Foundation Scholarships page from the detailed info available on the USNA Alumni Association Foundation website, first pass on Google.

Over to you for the NAPS legwork. Search for the entering USNA class profile for the last few years. That usually mentions how many have come via NAPS. You can see the general range. Assume a few more seats are offered, because attrition occurs.

NAPS and Foundation appointments are offered over the same period (generally Dec thru May waitlist) as regular direct appoiontees.

NAPS approximately starts with 250 from Navy (Coast Guard ~10) each year, and Foundation starts with 50-60.

Over the past 5-6 years, the numbers coming down from NAPS to USNA the following year have been declining for some odd reason. For example,

1. NAPS Class 2020/USNA class ‘24 .... ~250 started NAPS, but ~198 made it down to Annapolis

2. It steadily rises all the way back to 2016 where ~250 started NAPS, and ~ 225 made it down to Annapolis the following year.

Maybe the work is steadily getting harder each year from 2016 to 2020 at NAPS .... who knows.

Look at the Class profiles for the past 5-6 years. You may have to Google to find them somewhere.
