NAPS offers 2022

Gotcha - that is from the CIS portal, as soon as one accepts an appointment these five documents appear.

That document is giving lots of people trouble with. I had sent out the pdf separately in this SAF posting:

this is what is in the NAPS document directory, which one do you need:

Oh wow. We didn’t even see those. We were just looking at the ones on the portal and the NAPS page so far. We got the accession questionnaire from another NAPS student Who apparently had to get it from his AO since it isn’t loading online. But THANK YOU so much for that list!

You can see all documents if you search on Google “NAPS accepted”

you need to download the circled in RED documents. The NAPS enlistment package is what I had in the listing before - these are different from the CIS portal from the Academy where the accession document is from. The enlistment package is critical - you must have these along with original birth cert, SSN card, original HS Diploma to enlist in the Naval Reserves BEFORE June 30th. To enlist you must make an appointment at your local Navy Enlistment office AND and officer must present the oath - not a petty officer. Good Luck.

Thank you again so much. We are trying to get them to open now. And yes, we knew that about enlisting and have already made arrangements for her dad to be her swearing in officer. 🥹

Is a CWO eligible to give the oath? Closest recruiter is 2.5hrs away from DD. A CWO has offered to come in from Seattle

I have been told commissioned officer. Could be Navy, AF, Army, Marine, or Coast Guard. Active or Retired. Contact NAPS POC: CPO Seigfried for answer on CWO.
Or Space Force! Can’t forget the baby of the family.

@BayouDad
See screenshot. References the statute. No doubt it is in in Navy Regs somewhere. Chief Warrant Officers are definitely officers; their commission is a chief warrant officer type.

@CaptMJ - does that include retired, too? My DD said when she called the USNA POC they told her both active and retired can do it - was she mistaken?

K-confirmed, either active or retired officers can give the oath:

a retired officer can give the oath of service to an officer candidate. In fact, there is no requirement that the oath be given by an active-duty officer. Any commissioned officer, whether on active duty or retired, is authorized to administer the oath. This includes officers from all branches of the military.

Hello all those who have received a NAPS offer. Curious how everyone is going to include their appointment in their High School graduation announcement? Also, what have you asked your high school administrators to announce as you cross stage during your commencement? Any ideas would be very helpful.

US Naval Academy Preparatory School
I agree with the actual name, and if the format allowed any additional info:
Aetos has been invited to attend the Naval Academy Preparatory School in Newport, Rhode Island, a fully-funded intense course to prepare him/her for an opportunity to enter the Naval Academy, Class of 2028.
