NAPS - What would tuition be if it weren't covered? (tuition equivalent)

Hello. Because my son is going to NAPS, and tuition is free, we are allowed to withdraw money we invested in a 529 for him without paying the 10% non-educational expense penalty. This is according to a Military Tax Act of 2003 law. However, we can only withdraw the amount that would be equivalent to Tuition, Room, and Board for the year at NAPS. Does anybody know how much that would be? We will need to have it in writing either from a published source or from a letter from someone at NAPS to show the IRS that tuition at NAPS is free and what the value is. Thanks so much.

You might want to search threads about 529 accounts. I know there are a bunch. They will probably answer your questions.
