NASS acceptance updates

Exciting day today...Day #1 of first session. DS is a detailer, and is ready for ‘ya! For many this will determine a YES or a NO as far as applying...it was a deciding factor for my Mid. So for many, the beginning of an amazing journey.

I am excited to hear my sons perspective as a detailer!

My DD is there for session 1, received a text earlier and she has already made friends and sounds pretty happy.

DS there right now and this is make or break for him. I know for some summer programs the academies post pictures and updates. Does USNA do such a thing? I’m not too looped in on all the info, sort of flying blind.

I’m hoping for pictures too! I follow USNA on IG and FB, haven’t seen any pictures yet but thought it might be too early.

They do post pictures of NASS. If you follow the USNA and USNA Admissions pages on your favorite sites you will see pictures.

DS is a detailer too. Hard to believe that two summers ago he started his USNA journey at NASS.

BTW, I did mention to DS the detailer, to keep in mind that families will treasure pics. I remember when he went, some squads had lots of pics, DS had one. So I planted that seed to remember if it’s appropriate and his style, to offer to take some for y’all. It’s so exciting.

I know they are busy BC DS is in ghost mode. I’m also excited to hear from him!
