NASS communication question

Was thinking about DS going to NASS session 3. He is currently at SLE.

Do they get any more communication from USNA regarding transportation? I remember for SLE that DS had to enter in his travel itinerary to the portal. Unless he has received something this week via email I don’t think he has had the same kind of communication leading up to NASS. His airline ticket is purchased and he is planning on taking the bus from the airport.

Anyone who attended in the past or maybe session 1 have any insight?

Perhaps one of the parents with kids going through the earlier session of NASS can confirm , but would expect that attendee's collect baggage and go to ground transportation area (near the baggage claim at BWI), and there will be Midshipmen present collecting them and guiding to the bus.

Thank you! DS printed off the instructions to report to baggage claim area and look for the midshipmen. I just thought maybe USNA would want the students travel info so they knew who they were picking up. I guess I am just over thinking it, thanks again.

We did not receive any instructions to provide travel/itinerary information. Looking for mid in baggage claim at BWI is the instructions.

My DD just finished session 1. If you follow the instructions, to meet at baggage claim, all will go smoothly. No further communication is necessary. They do keep close tabs on them arriving. My DD was diverted due to weather along with many others last Saturday. NASS and my DD were in communication working out details for late transportation. All went as smooth as possible considering a 4 hour diversion. Some NAPsters could not arrive until Sunday am, due to weather. NASS did send an email last Saturday, stating they were aware of flight delays and cancellations, with an action plan. Rest assured.
