    Hey y’all!

Going into NASS next week, I know we’ll be given PTs and we’ll be wearing those for the entirety of our time in Annapolis (excluding travel days), but will writing utensils and paper/folders be provided for the classroom portion?

That stuff isn’t on the packing list, so I’d assume that will be included in the gear we’re given, but you know what they say about assuming. Same goes for water bottles. Will all of that be issued?

    Thanks in advance!

DS - just finished Session 2- says you don’t need writing stuff or water bottles- all supplied. The one thing he did say is he wish he brought more chafing cream and texted “sand is not your friend”

Agree with ders_dad. DS just got back yesterday as well. Said the only thing he was really glad he brought was a third pair of shoes. They had a couple of days of rain (and they don't stop activities for rain) along with sea trials and he said having dry shoes each am was a huge plus. Check the weather.

DS also talked about the "beach" . Sand is not your friend.

DS had a great time and talked about for hours after I picked him up from the airport. He is more committed now than ever. Great experience and I'm glad he got to go.

Common theme here, avoid the sand as much as possible. Thank you both! I’m glad your DSs had a good time.

    You are right - LOL

DS said they were told to jump in the river to get wet and then roll around it in it until they completely covered.
