NASS return flight problem

I have a question:

So for the summer seminar, I read that the return flight should be before 2 pm; but when I looked online to purchase a plane ticket, I could only find one that's scheduled to depart at 8 am and another at 4 pm. The problem is, the 4 pm flight costs costs 200 dollars more than the 8 am flight, so I want to catch the morning plane. But will transportation be available for me that early in the morning to the BMI airport?
I really want to save 200 dollars.

Thanks.

My letter reads "Naval Academy buses will depart USNA at 12:45 p.m. for BWI Airport. Please do not schedule airline departures earlier than 3:00 pm"

Are you sure you can not find any other flight? There are a lot of different airlines, try looking within their own websites or use priceline?

Yeah. Priceline and travelocity, and a whole lot of other sites do comparisons between airlines; you can also select when you want to leave. Good luck. :thumb:

I searched everywhere for other times, but unfortunately, it looks like I'm gonna have to pay that extra $200. On the bright side, I'll be getting a quality flight.

I would call or email admissions and see what they say about it. Never know what suggestions they may have!

What about a flight out of Reagan National? Would the academy offer shuttles to this airport.

No, they state they only shuttle from BWI in the letters, and for me BWI was the cheaper airport to fly into anyways.

I remember last year that people in my squad left early because they had an early departure. Although, it was mid morning so not quite as early as 8 am. I would definitely call admissions and see what they have to say.

The program ends after a presentation in one of the gymnasiums where awards are given for different measures, like highest CFA score male and female, most spirited company, etc. It ended in time for the bus to go to BWI, otherwise, the attendees went back to their rooms to get their belongings and then met up with parents to go home.

Necessary to go? Maybe not, but what if you had the highest CFA score?

Read further up in the thread: "My letter reads "Naval Academy buses will depart USNA at 12:45 p.m. for BWI Airport. Please do not schedule airline departures earlier than 3:00 pm"

Oh hello goal! My name is Tina. I'd love to meet you!

Tina-love that response! The girl who got the award at the NASS session my daughter went to looked to be a small but fearsome girl! Rock on!

Talk to the Youngsters. They can easily hook you up with a ride.

I went to NASS last year and The Academy only offers shuttles to Baltimore
