I'm sorry, I forgot to add that they sent out the third session acceptances first. However, as they get replies back they will be sending out acceptances to people who may be 2nd or 3rd on their lists, etc. However, there may have been slight glitches in the system...? I am just going off of what they told me. What session did you apply for?
Again, sorry for not including that crucial detail.

NASS:report new sat scores?

My son applied to 3rd session and has not heard a thing. Since he applied, he took the SAT and got the results back and did quite well on them. Much better than his PSAT scores which he reported. Do you think he should contact someone to give the new info? Maybe it is too late to help him get into SS...
 
have the scores sent to USNA. a summer seminar appliaction, at least when i did it, was the preliminary application for admission. they should get the scores and be able to update your file.
 
First time posting on this forum. Two years ago my daughter was in your position, waiting for that summer seminar acceptance letter to arrive. When it did, her tears of joy and the monster hug I got will stay with me till the day I die. Today, she is almost done with plebe year, and as one of her summer blocks earned the assignment to be a summer seminar cadre with her own squad. She will be taking her first steps as a leader at the academy. Life can come full circle.

Most of you will receive good news on summer seminar. This year the number of students attending was raised from 2100 to roughly 2700. Your odds of success went up a lot. Just remember, this will be the easiest application and time spent at USNA. If you think waiting for the summer seminar acceptance was hard wait until you complete and wait for the results from the 4 part application process.

Same thing happened to my daughter. My daughter emailed the academy with her new ACT and SAT scores. They sent back a note saying that they would put them in her file but the Summer Seminar decision will be based off her SS application scores. Funny thing is she received an acceptance letter shortly there after. I guess showing some persistance pays off. Good luck.
