I completed my app for NASS and submitted the app within an hour after app process opened back in early February. Still no word. After reading lots of nass acceptance posts that were received a wk later after applying for nass I am now thinking realistically less than 10 percent chance of acceptance to nass at this late date. Thoughts?

NASS acceptances are very staggered. Some who are accepted will decline for various reasons. It's not uncommon for people to learn very late in the process. Be patient and, as noted above, even if you aren't accepted, proceed with your application to USNA.
Remember applications do not close until March 31. Don't give up hope just yet. I also think, maybe hope, early acceptance depends on your geographical area. I'm not seeing much from Virginia yet. Fingers crossed here, too!
For what it's worth, my son was accepted to SLE in February. I'm thinking because we are farther from West Point he was accepted early into that program.
