Hi all - we are really confused about the candidate supplemental documentation form required as a naturalized citizen (adopted from foreign country).

I am wondering if all the applicant has to do is show certificate of citizenship and/or passport at the interview? I am assuming that they do not want us to mail either of these to them. I know it sounds silly, but the instructions (at least the way I read them) are confusing. Anyone have any input?

Yes -- you do need to mail the original documents to USAFA Admissions. You only need to send one (I suggest the certificate of citizenship). Once the documents are verified they will be returned to you. If you have additional questions, call your counselor.

You'll need those for USAFA; not for an ALO.
