naval academy 1st semester grades

    I received a principal nomination from my congressman on December 30th. Despite this,I received an email from the admissions office stating that it was necessary that I have my first semester grades sent in immediately. I just contacted my guidance counselor who said that my grades will be available and sent out most likely during the second week of February. Will this be a problem? Thank you.

    No, and USNA will attach them to your profile as soon as they can (takes some time to scan/load to everyone's file so be patient). Since they specifically asked you to send in 7th semester grades, don't expect to hear about an appointment until after that is done. Even then it may still take time to hear, but since you have a Principal nom and assuming you're qualified academically/physically/medically, you will receive an appointment.

    Agree with above comment but it might be smart to let USNA Admissions know though. It would certainly be courteous to do so and tells them you got their message and are not ignoring it. Also, follow up with the guidance counselor the second week of February.
