The Club is sort of like the old Officers Clubs found on installations around the world. They serve meals and some special ones during Easter and other weekends.
Since you can't visit the Yard and the Club it's probably not a good idea UNLESS you just want to support the club. I like the club. I grew up going to O clubs with my parents and enjoy the Sunday brunch they serve.

> Perhaps people living closer to the Annapolis who like the idea of being a member of a Club club might enjoy the quiet, relaxed atmosphere of the Naval Academy Club , but from the perspective of an old grad, there is little benefit. There are so many outstanding restaurants out in town, and I am never there long enough to hit all my Fav's.
The main reason to get a membership is to be able to take your mid to brunch, lunch or dinner when they aren't allowed to be off the yard. At this time, since parents aren't allowed on the yard, there is no reason to get a membership (unless you want to support the club).
also, you don't need to be a member to go to the bar downstairs and have a drink or a meal. you only need to be a member to go to the dining room and sunday brunch etc.
