My USNA Firstie may be headed to Nuke school in Charlston, SC after graduation. Can someone tell me how long the schooling is and what they do when they finish the classroom education in Charlston? Thanks
HERE'sS a link to a Wiki about the school. Sub officers spend 6 months in Goose Creek. Afterwards it's 6 months at prototype there or in Balston Spa, NY. Then go to Groton for basic sub officer training. Surface nukes go to the fleet for a tour before heading to SC.
