I think the Navy is wrong here. I'd rather know the persons job I'm looking for....

Navy thinks it will translate to the private sector? It won't.
 
Even the grunts can have fun with the snipe hunts. I remember a Gunnery Sergeant sending a midshipman for a box of the "breakfast C-Rations" and reading him the riot act for coming back with the wrong case. Sent him to every unit out in the field and every Gunny kept up the pressure. Priceless!
 
Guess all it took was the Commandant of the Coast Guard saying "that's dumb. We're not doing that."

I do wonder how much they spent of the study that recommended the first move....

Glad to see a course correction! I wonder when we will see the few ratings renamed because "man" is in them - the reason to change in the first place.

Thank you for giving the Ratings back to the Sailors, ADM Richardson. I only wish you could also bring the female combo covers back.

For those who are not aware, the ACC (Alternative Combination Cover) for female has a cute little tied ribbon inside - easier to identify it as a female combo cover, maybe? :thumbdown:
