Navy Sports Camps

Has anyone heard any rumblings about the status of USNA team sports camps this summer? My son is signed up for one in the late summer and they are still listed on the website. I know they aren't the highest priority (probably the lowest), but wondering when we might here something definitive about whether they are happening or not.

From what I heard, everything through June is cancelled or postponed... So far, I haven’t heard anything about later months. I think that it is a “wait and see” type of situation—but keep an eye on the Navy sports website.

I am sure you have read the COVID update at the website, but if not:

Anything after 30 June is still scheduled, but I would not be hopeful. There is no playbook due this. USNA will err on the safe of safety, I would predict.

They sent out an email today announcing that they have cancelled all camps. It's small thing in the big scheme of things, but it is a disappointment none the less.

Hopefully they'll come back next year. Our son is interested in the football one. Goooo Navy!
