I have secured Barritts Ginger Beer and Goslings Black Seal Bermuda Black Rum with a lime.

Something tells me my Canada Dry ginger ale and Canadian Whiskey is better. Will find out later.

100% vaccinated crew. If you got vaccinated three or four times in one year for small pox and you still caught small pox how effective would you consider that vaccine?

With a totally vaxed crew it might be the policy makers I’d question more than the vax.

Now I don’t know for sure that a totally vaxed ship might be able to carry on well even with covid Dx among them but I’d think it in the Navy’s interest to find out.

I trust the vax to keep us for the most part free of serious infection related conditions like death and the ICUs

I see it’s the unvaxed that are dying now and filling up the ICUs.

I have a DGD that is in her Emergency Medicine Residency in Boston and she said this weekend her patients have been unvaccinated COVID or problems with drugs or alcohol. The medical people I know who actually see Covid patients seem to all be in agreement that the majority of Covid patients are unvaccinated and they also are saying that they (the medical persons) are wearing out from taking care of these unvaccinated patients. We may be losing some medical people that refuse to be vaccinated, but we are also losing them from exhaustion and perhaps anger at people not helping themselves.

You may need to trust the vax for a long time.

From the article: “Although not mandatory, the COVID-19 vaccine booster is strongly recommended,” a new naval administrative message said. “Because all studies are converging on the need for a vaccine booster to ensure enduring protection, it is essentially becoming the next-shot in a series and will likely become mandatory in the near future.”

Any guess as to how long that series will be? As of now it looks like every six months indefinitely. Again this is for the vaccine that has killed more people in the first few months offered than all other vaccines in the last 20 years combined. Long term effects still unknown.

You will forever be chasing that fully vaccinated status because those goal posts keep shifting.

I don’t know why your mission on this site is to target me. I have repeatedly asked you to move on. You almost remind me of the poster that said he was a BGO and had several accounts - kept attacking me.

Tell us how many unvaccinated sailors are in the ICU with covid. Is it one or none?

Keep in mind they are being tossed for Force Readiness reasons while fully vaccinated (as of today - the booster mandate will come out any day now and many will revert back to not fully vaccinated status) sailors are getting and spreading covid with the results seen on the USS Milwaukee.

No one is attacking you, but you telling someone that proven scientific facts are not accurate is attacking someone. The numbers of unvaccinated people in the hospital, sick and dying, are in most locales 10x more than those that are vaccinated.

You don't trust the vaccine and the goverment, and don't want to be vaccinated. Great, your choice even though that mindset will continue the pandemic. That still does not make the science that is proven incorrect.
