Navy Wins! At last.

They played much better. A few turnovers crushed them, but they bounced back. Offense moved well today. Defense came up big when needed. Special teams had some great plays. Good win. Last week they had a good half, today was a complete game.

That’s GREAT to hear!!

And Sprint be at Army…in another good game!!

It was a great day!!! Fun game and energy! They looked better despite some turnovers and penalties. Definitely heading in the right direction!

Saturday's game is what college football is all about. On any given Saturday, an underdog can show up and come away with the win. We were cheering from home and knew the feeling in the stadium must have been electric. Navy football played such a great game. From the time the punt was blocked, it was a different team on the field. Way to Go Navy, Beat Army!

I've missed all the Navy games this year, the last two because I don't get CBS Sports Network. 😔
I have to settle for pinning the live score to my phone.

Was at a Navy game one year with wife and both my Daughter's siblings. Daughter snuck up to sit with us and I was making periodic trips to the concession stands for all of us. Every time I went down stairs Navy scored a Touchdown. By the third quarter people were offering me money to leave the seats. They did have closed circuit downstairs so I didn't miss anything. Loved Ricky Dobbs. If you meet with your Plebe under the stands at Navy/Marine watch their reaction when some scrambled eggs walk by, hilarious.

I didn't pick Navy to win against UCF but Temple looks better than I thought. I'm not ready to yet bump my win prediction to three. I'm staying at two wins on the season.

It was amazing to be there! Missed Singing Second...as my wife and I dashed off with our MIDN to a tailgate, then to a 2C parents & MIDN get togeather. Met lots of amazing MIDN.

Annapolis was hopping this weekend. We got in on Thursday and met a bunch of nice Grads from '69, '71, '72, and '84.
Saw the P-Rade on Friday (and saw a couple of MIDNs drop). My DS was one of the body snatchers, but he had no work in his AO.
DTA was packed with people, what with reunions and 2C weekend going on. We have a Firstie, but missed 2C weekend last year because of Covid, so this year we just followed people in normally off-limits areas. Kind of easy to just walk around unfettered if the kid at the CMOD desk assumes that you're supposed to be there. ;)

The tailgate for our DS' Company was fabulous. We never went into the game, electing to eat steak and drink margaritas while watching under the big tent on the big screen and shoot the bull with alumni. It was really a blast, especially when the MIDNs rolled in after the game was over.
