Nearly 2 months after interview, ALO still has not submitted form. What should I do?

Hi all,

I conducted my interview with my ALO in early September, and she promised to submit it within a week. About 3 weeks later I asked her if she had submitted it, and she said that she hadn't, and "would get it in by the weekend." Fast forward to 2 days ago, and the form is still not submitted. I ask her if there is "Any updates on the interview form?" She responded with "I'll take a look at it when I land"(She is an airline pilot). She has not texted me back from then, and it still says unsubmitted on my portal. Needless to say I am pretty frustrated. In addition, my deadline is Nov. 1st, so the clock is ticking to get it in. Is this normal? How should I push her without being rude? Should I just request a new ALO? Thank you guys for any advice.

Okay, first: relax.

Second...if it says "unsubmitted" in YOUR portal, that means it hasn't been accepted by USAFA/RRS. She "may" have submitted it but the RRS team hasn't reviewed it and signed off on it. ALOs evaluations are "reviewed" by the admissions team and if they feel that a rating doesn't match the verbiage, or they think the scores are too high or too low, they'll "reject" it and return it to the ALO. They really want these to be "clean" and superb.

SO...that being said...I would contact your counseling team and let them know that you're concerned; that you see in YOUR portal that it's not submitted, and share your communication with the ALO with the counselors. They have enormous power to move dates, etc.
