Being the first from my small private school to receive an appointment to a SA, I had to go through much of the process blindly. I am working on a project for my school to create a "guide" to applying to the SAs with a different section for the important things such as DODMERB, CFA, Nominations, Summer Seminar, and the like. I know I do not have near enough of a complete understanding of the application process to do a good job on my own, so I thought I would ask y'all for some help. My goal is to make the process more accessible to those at my school and give the SAs a spotlight since many do not even know they exist or what they are. I have been on SAF almost daily and will use much of the information I have learned here. I was wondering if some of the more experienced members have any insight or advice on what to be sure to include, tidbits of knowledge, useful resources or anything that could be of use in my endeavor.
