I live in a rural town in West Virginia. I'm planning to go to two leadership programs this summer and a computer code program as well. I'm in my church's youth group too. I'm not sure what activities I could do to help my application. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

DS set up and ran an after school tutoring program He set up all the tutors and did the scheduling. He was also an AYSO soccer coach. He spent his summers working for a construction company and volunteered in a special needs classroom. There are many things you can do even in a small town. Think out side the box. Find a need in your community and fill it

Sea cadets is a great program if you want to go to USNA. You should see if there is a unit nearby

Google "volunteer opportunities in WV." There might be something you could do that is unique, enriching or provide inspiration for a summer project, something you could lead with your church group (shoe drive?) or at school next year.

Find an activity where you could earn your way to a leadership position and do well at it. Quality vs quantity, I'll take a sound leader in one area over someone who's in a hundred different things and can't balance them all. But if you can excel at them all, more power to you.

Get a safety certification of some kind; first aid, AED, water safety, gun safety, etc. There are always activities that require someone who knows first aid and safety and often these might turn into jobs as well. Explorer Scouts offer many career activities too.
