Hello! I am from Nevada, District four, and this morning I received a nomination from Cresent Hardy to the Air Force Academy. I have contacted all three offices. And this is what I've found out.
I called Dean Heller's office and he stated that normally their nominations are submitted in the second week of December. He also said that if they do not come out in the second week of December they will release it before Christmas. The gentleman said that the offices communicate with each other to try to only give one nomination per person.
Over the last week I have called Hardy's office and the gentleman stated that the congressional districts typically try to submit their slates first to allow the senators to pick who they nominate. (Again they try not to give a person two nominations). But he also stated there is a chance to get more than one. Last year there was a girl who received three nominations but decided to go the ROTC route.
