New Army Camo

USMA is further down the fielding wave for the new uniforms. With the first wave available for limited purchase at select locations planned for July, don't expect new cadets to see the new pattern nor for the corps to transition to it for a couple of years.

If USMA is down on the list how much further will AROTC be? Digital for the next 3 years?
Appears to me from the small photo new camo looks closer to what had in the 1980s USMC? Maybe I should dig out old duffel bag, I could probably fit at least one leg in the trousers, that will at least entertain the kids.

Ha! I thought mine were the only ones that mysteriously shrunk in storage!

Right USMC Grunt. We all just “knew” the Corps put salt peter in the chow. They probably put a delayed shrinking element in our duffel bags thinking we would feel bad and exercise more as we got older. I did feel bad but didn’t exercise more. I sure showed them.

It is neither "retro" nor is it the camo the USMC had in the 80s, which at the time was NATO standard woodland camo pattern shared by all services (something that is, despite our current wardrobe, still a requirement).

I'm glad USMA is down the list. The Army's last attempt at this was utterly shameful. My active duty unit was wearing BDUs at Fort Drum while plebes clomped around in ACUs.
