Hi all,

I'm a senior in MA applying for an AFROTC scholarship. I have long been committed to serve others but only this past summer did I feel a calling to serve my country. Being a member of the armed forces was always in the back of my mind, but I hadn't seriously considered it. I'm the first in my family to take this path, although a cousin is an USAFA applicant. I am hopeful that one day I, too, can be part of the world's greatest Air Force! :biggrin:

OBTW your moniker made me laugh. I had to do a double take when you said AFROTC because most people associate Blue and Gold with the Navy. That is what they call their liaisons between USNA and candidates.
 
I wasn't aware; that's pretty funny! It's my title because I am applying to attend the University of Notre Dame. It is my top choice, and those are their colors
