Speaking of rifles...
I always wondered what happened to the 6.5 Grendel round. On paper, that thing looked great, more accurate than the 5.56x45mm, more stopping power than the 7.62x39mm, and better range than either. There was a lot of buzz about it, then it kind of faded from existance.
