New Super Moderator

SAF Members,

As jamzmom has recently announced, she has moved over from a Super Moderator to the new position of Community Liaison.

I am happy to announce that long-time member and moderator usna1985 will be stepping up to become our next Super Moderator. I am excited that she has decided to join us and would like to thank her for her commitment to the forum and our members.

USNA1985 has always done a very professsional job as a moderator and manages to keep her personal opinions separate from the mod job which isn't always easy to do. Can you explain what a super mod does that is any different from a mod? Not familiar with that term as it is used here.

Thanks to both of you for the encouragement. The SuperMod position has substantially better pay and benefits -- you should see the retirement package!

Seriously, it just means that I have the ability to moderate additional boards.

Actually on here I think it would be a blue/gold curtain (at least at the USNA site!!!!)

Mods serve a useful purpose to keep people on track and on topic......Just check that 'other' forum site to see examples of what can happen when they don't.....LOL.
