New to posting

I could be wrong, but I felt that a heavy emphasis was put on the interview (just speculation). Basically I would just suggest that you have very sound and thought out answers for typical questions.

I'm a junior in District 27 (Diaz-Balart), on the Naples side. Do you guys have any advice for the MOC in the state? More notably the Senators?

Just relax and be yourself. My MOC told me I was a shoe in for the nomination because out of all the interviews I was the one that didn't seem nervous and was able to actually talk.

Awesome, I'll also be wearing my JROTC uniform because I've heard it helps a lot

Are you NROTC? Otherwise, I wouldn't wear it. Only because my DS is AFROTC and didn't want to sit there looking all 'Air Forcey" asking for a career in the Navy. It worked better for him not to wear it. He got the nomination. If you are NROTC, than I would say go for it!!

Army JROTC, I'm Battalion XO, 2nd in command now, and I'll be BC next year

I guess each cadet is different. My son is AFJROTC, cadet colonel, and cadet corps commander. He proudly wore his uniform to his nomination interview because it reflected the hard work he has put in to get to that level. He got the nomination. I would say if you have a uniform and you want to wear it, then proudly wear it.

Is there any other way to wear the uniform?
