New York/Northeast Region

I slacked off and didn't really start training until like two weeks before the test so I passed with about average scores for everything except crunches (5 away from maxing woohoo!) My mile time was pretty horrible though, 7.00 is approximately 20 seconds slower than the average. I'm planning on practicing over the summer and retaking it for better scores, though I'm not sure how much they count for as far as admissions goes.

Do you have the pamphlet thingy with the average and max CFA scores? It's pretty helpful if you're looking for a goal score for each event while practicing. Good luck hkim93!

I'm pretty sure the 11th/10th district in VA might be two of the most competitive in the country. You don't want to move down here.

Oh well...that's unfortunate. I live in the 10th district, haha.

NY-12 oh yeah...got my act back

English: 24
Math:31
Reading:31

Awesome Szpieg:thumb: Hmm I'm not an ACT expert, but maybe a little improvement on English and Science wouldn't hurt

yes yes that must improve, but i think math and reading is pretty fine but can also improve; i just dont knopw by how much it can go up

I live in 26th district in NY (Bayside). Anyone knows if that district is competitive?

you can either go to the congressperson yourself and ask, or you can contact major belmont.

Yes, it is definitely difficult to improve an already great score, but all I can suggest is keep practicing. I myself need to improve my SAT/ACT scores so I'm being tutored by teachers. Cracking a 2200 on the SAT and a 32 on the SAT would be nice, but as of now, I'm nowhere near it
Good luck to you and keep working!

I live in the 11th district, right in Burke

I live in Ashburn. If you lived in the 10th district, I probably may be screwed, haha. Good luck man.

So I was watching the Oath Ceremony for the class of 2014 and apparently the Regimental Executive Officer of the Corp was from Ashburn, Virginia. Totally didn't expect that so I thought that was pretty neat.

Cracking a 2200 is no doubt a challenge. Being a college student, it's a little too late to improve my SAT's, so my highest score I'm sending in is a 1970...lol.

Yes, it definitely is a challenge that I've yet to accomplish (hopefully). I only have two more chances left in the fall, December being my last. I'm praying that I won't have to go that far though.

Does anyone know how competitive the 19th congressional district in NY is?
